Westcoast Flyfishers Association's annual fly tying competition.
The competition consisted of two levels: Experienced and Novice/Junior. The competitors flies were entered into four difference categories: Open, Dry, Salt and Wet.
This is the second year that the flies in the competition were judged by Gord Patterson, owner of Eagle Eye Wilderness Company. We thank Gord for his continued support of the West Coast Flyfishers Association.
Gord's comments were: "It was very difficult to judge which flies were winners because they all of superior quality. The Executive of the West Coast Flyfishers Association would to thank all those competitors who entered the competition. We the executive look forward to an increased participation in the annual competition next year.
The competition acts as a cornerstone of the Association's mandate to provide fly tying and generate interest in the sport of fly fishing.
